Crystal Palace announce the appointment of Frank de Boer

As clubs up and down the country look to bolster the playing staff, one club has announced a new man in the dugout. Crystal Palace have announced the appointment of ex-Barcelona star Frank de Boer. The Dutchman comes into Selhurst Park with the job of trying to establish Palace as a competitive Premier League team. de Boer has told fans that relegation battles should be a thing of the past (Talksport Radio).

There was plenty of reaction on Social Media, most of it positive and some of it was with regards to the new Palace away shirt. Here’s what they’re saying about the situation on twitter;

@AFCAjax – Good luck Frank!

@Mudfins – From Inter to Palace. Upgrade

@dean_hunter17 – Be gone in November

@Adie1878 – Great to see Palace get some good news for a change

@bossmac90 – Great signing for @cpfc look forward to playing against him this season!!!!

Our favourite tweet has to be this one by Jonny Latimer

@jonnylatimer Time to get De Beers in to celebrate. I’ll see myself out

Crystal Palace have got an experienced man at the helm, he should be able to attract some quality talent to Selhurst Park. It will be interesting to see what effect de Boer will have on Palace, only time will tell. de Boer will get the Palace Premier League campaign underway at home to newly promoted Huddersfield Town.
